Punta de Mita

Punta de Mita is actually a picturesque peninsula located at the northern tip of Banderas Bay surrounded by the fine white sands of the Corral del Risco and El Anciote beaches. The Nicklaus Pacifico course offers the world’s only “true island hole” – those skilled enough to “hit the green” must get there to putt via a water tram! Litibú

Litibu, located just north of Punta de Mita, is the focal point of a major government beach vacation development project. Luxury resorts will be carefully integrated into the cliffs, virgin beaches and paradise-like surroundings, insuring that the beauty and existence of the ecosystem and environment are well preserved. The first hotels and a new Greg Norman golf course have recently opened to rave reviews and this area will soon be recognized internationally as a world-class destination unto itself.
